WHITWORTH DAVID ALAN On 29th January, 2017 Aged 62 years of Lindley. Peacefully at Cleveland House, surrounded by family and close friends. Much loved dad of Kirsty and Lauren, loving grandad of Aimee, Emmi and Elsie and loved by many and will be sadly missed. The service will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 14th February at 11.15am. Would friends kindly meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if desired to Kirkwood Hospice.

Dave had worked at Huddersfield Technical College Engineering department for many years and joined HSME 3 years ago.

Dave enjoyed his time down at Highfields and was popular with everyone and always had a joke and a good tale to tell alomg with a good deal of Technical Knowledge on offer.  Dave had recently scratch built a boat,  Picture below, which he wanted to donate to the Society.

A generous man who was happy to help out and very well liked by all who came upon him.  He  will be missed by all of us at HSME.
